Spines up, mouth open, eye like a saucer. Well out of his depth.

Painted with a palette knife in silver, sea green and a flash of orange, with the cold wax built up thick on the body so the scales catch the light.

Oil and cold wax on canvas, 39.5 × 30 cm, unframed. Original, one of a kind.

Prints of my work are available from €35, in two sizes, framed and ready to hang. See the Prints collection or get in touch.
