Seasons
Spring on the Burren arrives quietly — gentians in the grikes, light loosening over the limestone. These are the weeks I paint fastest, before the colour settles into memory.
A turlough is one of the Burren's disappearing lakes — full one month, gone the next. This painting is about that quiet in-between, the water and stone holding the same soft light.
Oil and cold wax on canvas, built up in layers. 30 × 40 cm, framed in white wood and ready to hang. Original, one of a kind.
Mounted prints are available, ranging in price from €60 to €170 depending on size — see the Prints collection or get in touch.
